Air-Cooled Water Chiller
Air-Cooled Water Chiller
Air-cooled water chiller is a kind of water chiller that adopts air as the cooling source and uses water as the cooling medium. Its heat sink is an in-built fan. Air-cooled water chiller mainly consists of three interconnected systems, namely, refrigerant circulating system, water circulation system, electrical appliance and automatic control system.
1. Refrigerant circulating system
The liquid refrigerant in evaporator absorbs the heat in water and begins to evaporate. Gradually, there is a temperature difference between refrigerant and water and the liquid refrigerant is fully changed into gas state. The gaseous refrigerant is then compressed by compressor and condensed into liquid in condenser. Through expansion valve, the liquid high temperature, high pressure refrigerant is changed into low temperature, low pressure refrigerant, and then enters into evaporator.
2. Water circulation system
Water pump draws water out of water tank and sends water to the equipment that needs to be cooled. Chilled water takes away the heat which causes the temperature of water to rise and then the water returns to the water tank.
3. Power supply unit and automatic control parts
Power supply unit supplies power to compressor, fan, and water pump through contactor. The automatic control parts include temperature controller, pressure protective device, delayer, relay, overload protective device, and so on.
Air-cooled water chiller can be used to cool the mould processed by plastic processing machinery, to improve the surface smoothness and reduce the surface marks and internal stress of plastic products, preventing the plastic products from shrinkage and deformation. This will facilitate the demoulding of plastic products and thus largely improve the production efficiency of plastic molding machine.
Features of Air-Cooled Water Chiller
1. High quality compressor
High quality compressor is the core of water chiller. Our air-cooled water chiller adopts the original compressor from Europe, America or Japan. The compressor features low running noise, low power consumption and long service life.
2. Water tank type evaporator
This air-cooled water chiller uses stainless steel water tank type evaporator with in-built automatic moisturizing device, so there is no need to install expansion tank. The evaporator is easy to install and maintain.
3. Air-cooled condenser
Fins are punched by high speed punching machine. Through twice flanging, copper tube and fins contact with each other closely, ensuring high heat transfer efficiency. Imported copper tube and fully automatic elbows welding mode are adopted to enhance oxygen tightness and prevent refrigerant from leakage. This water chiller can be used in places where water is insufficient or the water hardness is quite high.
4. Configuration
Air-cooled water chiller is equipped with precise electronic temperature controller which can keep the water temperature at 5-25℃. Besides, it is equipped with imported filter, expansion valve, and some other devices, to ensure the safe and reliable running.
5. Optional water pump
The air-cooled water chiller can be fitted with high efficient, energy saving water pump, according to the engineering design requirements.
6. Multifunctional operation panel
The operation panel is provided with ammeter, compressor switching push button, water pump switching push button, electronic temperature controller, operation indicator lamp, and so on. It is easy to operate and convenient to use.
