Dehumidifier
Dehumidifier
By condensing moisture onto a cold surface, a dehumidifier can takes moisture out of the air. The hot and cold coils are in the same box in the dehumidifier. Humid air, which is drawn into the dehumidifier by a fan, goes through the cold coil and is condensed into water globule. Then the dry air is heated up by hot coil back to its original temperature.
High moisture may cause mildew and mold to grow as well as attract some insects. Meanwhile, very high humid air is also unpleasant for people. Hence, dehumidifiers are widely used to keep indoor humidity within a certain level.
Dehumidifier can not only be used in dwellings, but also be applied for industrial purposes.
Most of engineering plastics are hygroscopic. When plastics are taken out from moisture-proof, sealed packaging bags and exposed to the air, they begin to absorb moisture from the atmosphere. An ordinary hot air dryer utilizes the air with moisture to dry the plastics, so it can not prevent plastics from absorbing moisture constantly.
Characteristics of Dehumidifier
1. The honeycomb runner of our dehumidifier is made from Japanese ceramic fiber, ensuring good dehumidifying effect.
2. The dehumidifier can be fitted with PLC programmable touch screen.
3. In general, -40℃ dew point temperature can be obtained. If the dehumidifier is collocated with water chiller, -50℃ or above dew point can be obtained.
4. Dehumidifying and regenerating operations proceed circularly, ensuring that the dew point temperature is kept stable and that the dew point is steady below -40℃
5. The dehumidifier will not cause pollution during use, so the quality of plastics will not be affected.
6. Runner can endure 1000℃ high temperature. It is resistant to acid and alkali, and is washable. Its service life is more than 10 years.
7. The regeneration temperature is 180℃. Compared to traditional hot air dryer, dehumidifier can save 2/3 time and 30%-40% energy.
8. One dehumidifier can be fitted with several separate drying hoppers.
